Sofia is a dedicated and certified speech-language pathologist with specializations in early intervention, receptive and expressive language therapy, articulation and phonology, as well as myofunctional therapy. She has a strong commitment to helping children communicate their thoughts, feelings, and needs effectively, which inspired her to establish Happy Hearts. Sofia provides tailored therapeutic interventions and support, fostering a nurturing environment where children can thrive in their communication skills. Her extensive training, combined with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children, enables her to create individualized treatment plans that empower young ones to express themselves with confidence and clarity.

Sandy Lee B.S. SLPA
Sandy earned her Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and Hearing Sciences from Cal State East Bay. She enjoys working with children and finds it especially meaningful to support their growth, confidence and communication skills.
Outside of the clinic, Sandy loves going on walks, trying new foods, and spending time with her family. She also volunteers at huer church, where she supports youth and gives back to her community. Sandy plans to continue her education so she can conitnue expanding her knowledge and provide the highest quality of care to the individuals and families she serves. She is bilingual in English and Hmong.

Eliana Torres B.S. SLPA Intern
Eliana graduated from California State University, East Bay, where she earned her B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She is passionate about working as a SLPA and loves supporting children as they develop their communication skills, build confidence, and reach important milestones in their growth.
Eliana enjoys creating positive and engaging experiences for the children she works with and is dedicated to helping them succeed both in and out of the therapy setting. She plans to continue her education in the future to become a Speech-Language Pathologist and further expand her ability to support children and their families.
In her free time, Eliana loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys going out, exploring new places, trying new foods, and making fun memories. Whether it’s discovering a new spot to visit or simply enjoying time together, she values staying connected and experiencing new things.

Noreen Lee - Family Care Coordinator
Noreen graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. Her multifaceted background includes teaching ESL for elementary grades in the Lamorinda school district and working in the commercial and film industry. As a mother of two grown children, she is passionate to see children have the best opportunities to grow and thrive in life. In her free time, she enjoys exploring hiking trails in the Bay Area, trying different cuisines and visiting the ocean. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin.
